I'll say it time and again -- don't pay upfront fees to sell your timeshare unless you want to lose that money as well. Especially if they promise to give you back the money when the timeshare is sold. This gives them absolutely no reason to sell the timeshare:
The 39-year-old woman wanted to sell her vacation property on landmarktimeshares.com, a business she found on the Internet.
The woman sent in $1,800 in March and was promised the money would be sent back once her timeshare sold.
When the woman never heard back from the company, she called police in Waltham, Massachusetts where the business is located...
