I am planning to take my family to Walt Disney World this summer and I heard that you could go to a Disney Vacation Club timeshare presentation and receive free tickets to Disney World. I wondering how I can do this?

I'm also wondering that if I can also get free tickets for my kids if I go to this timeshare presentation? How would I go about that?

Has anyone ever done this before and any details that you can give me would be most appreciated.

As far as I'm aware, Disney Vacation Club Timeshare doesn't give away free Disney tickets with their presentations. I think other Florida timeshares of lesser value are the ones that make this offer. They are definitely not timeshares that you would want to purchase and the sales pitch will be strong.

I have heard about others who have done these presentations and I it doesn't seem to be worth it. They will keep you far past the time that they say the presentation will take as they try to get you to buy the timeshare. This is not what I would consider a vacation at all even when you may get a freebie. I go on vacation to have fun and relax.

Even if you do go, you won't get Disney tickets for the whole family. Any child over 10 is considered an adult and I don't know any timeshare presentation that will give away more than 2 tickets for listening to their hard sell. My advice would be to avoid it and truly enjoy your vacation even if it does mean spending a bit more.

Disney Vacation Club Timeshares don't give free tickets to see their timeshares. I don't think it's a good idea - who really wants to sit through a sales presentation when they are on vacation for something that you really aren't interested in?

Now if you are interested in a Disney Vacation Club Timeshare, buy your points on the secondary market, not directly from Disney. You can get some good deals if you do it this way.

I ended up buying my timeshare by attending a timeshare presentation where I had no plan to buy it and just went for the freebies. I ended up with one that I now don't need. I would be very careful if you do this. These people are very good at selling them even if you don't want them.
