Premier Timeshare Solutions contacted us on in January of this year. They told us that they had a buyer for our timeshare and the buyer was willing to pay $15, 000 for our timeshare which was the original price we paid. In order to complete the transaction with this buyer, we needed to pay $1250 for a title search, document preparation, and closing fees. We were anxious to get rid of our timeshare for such a good price so we paid $1250 and were told the closing documents would soon be completed once the title search was done. They told us that the buyer had already committed to the sale.

Two weeks later after not hearing a word, we called Premier Timeshare Solutions a number of times until we were finally able to get someone on the phone. We were then told that the buyer had backed out of buying our timeshare at the last minute. We were also informed that our title search funds were non-refundable and they basically brushed us off as quickly as they could. It wasn't difficult to figure out that we had been taken. Premier Timeshare Solutions reps continue to give us the run around when we are lucky enough to even get hold of them, and they have given us no sale or follow up whatsoever.

It's obvious that we have been taken of over $1000 and that Premier Timeshare Solutions is nothing more than a scam. That $1250 is money that we truly cannot afford in this economy. It is heartbreaking!

It is heartbreaking that these companies take advantage of timeshare owners that already have had a terrible experience with timeshares and take money that most families can ill afford to lose. If any company promises to be able to get even near the price that resorts sell timeshares for, it's a huge red flag. Unfortunately, this scam isn't limited to this company - there are a lot out there doing it.

This just shows that companies that require an upfront fee are almost always a scam. My advice is to always ask if the company will take 2x or 3x their regular fee once the timeshare is actually sold instead of the upfront fee. If they are not a scam, they should jump at this offer. If they are a scam, they will refuse.

wowi accidentally found this site trying to find the company and wanted to share my experience. i have purchased 2 separate timeshares from this company over the last 4 years. i plan on purchasing another (thats why i was looking for them). i've never tried to sell a property, but cant imagagine why they would continue to sell me timeshares if they are a scam like people are stating. i would certainly recommend them to purchase a property.

Timesharejunkie's advice is sound - it's an easy way to determine if it is a scam or not.
