I have a timeshare that I no longer want or need. I have done some research and understand that I shouldn't pay timeshare resellers an upfront fee to sell my timeshare. I have found that real estate agents also want an upfront fee. Is this something that I should pay?
Also, many real estate agents seem to be very reluctant to represent a timeshare. What is the best way to find one and to make sure that they will work to sell it in a timely manner?

No, don't pay an upfront fee to a real estate agent. Once you do this, there is no incentive to the agent to sell the timeshare because he/she has already been paid.
If a real estate agent is reluctant, offer them a high percentage of the sale price or a flat fee. The higher the amount you are willing to give to the agent, the more motivated they will be to sell it. This way you have them motivated to sell the timeshare and will have it sold before you have to give any money.

Look for a real estate agent that specializes in timeshares if you are selling in an area where timeshares are abundant. Up their agent fee and that will move you to the front of the line.

Very hard to do resale. I found it to be a scam. I just transfered it out of my name for good. Cost me some money but it is done
