The timeshare maintenance fee (http://www.timesharetrap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147) is determined by each resort and can vary widely. Most timeshare resorts charge somewhere between $300 and $1000 a year in maintenance fees. Maintenance fees will likely increase as the timeshare resort gets older and more repairs need to be made and there will also likely be an increase in this fee when the developer turns over the running of the timeshare resort to the homeowners' association if the developer has been subsidizing this fee to help sell timeshare units.
