I want to cancel my timeshare and timesharecancel said they can do it plus get my money back. They are also under the name TCProfessionals? They are not part of BBB and I asked them why. They said they are a private company and will not be apart of BBB. They are asking for $1500 upfront. Just wondering if anyone has heard of them?

I'll say it again. Don't pay money up front. Offer to have the money placed into an escrow account where they can have it as soon as the timeshare is out of your name. There is no risk to them if it is done this way if they are legit.

Don't do it what will happen is you will give them the cash and then your timeshare will go into forclosure and then they will not give you your money back because according to them that is termanation of your contract, please be smart, I did this and they are a scam the same company as The owners advocates they are expanding and working under new names now because the owners advocates was found out.

I am not sure this place is a bad one to use. I have reviewed the contract and don't see how a foreclosure is classified as termination of the contract. Jeep.rocks, are you 100% sure of this, or guessing with this specific place?

Part of their contract:
17. WARRANTY

TCP guarantees the provision of service as designated in Section 1, including the termination of your contract(s). Should TCP not secure the termination, rescission, release, or cancellation of your contract(s), as set forth in Section 1, and, if applicable, under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code within 24 months of the date of this agreement, TCP will refund 100% of your money. All timeshare contract cancellations occurring after date entering this contract constitutes a release secured by TCP.

18. REFUND POLICY

Should TCP fail to permanently effect the termination of your agreement(s) to purchase a timeshare, vacation club, vacation ownership, etc., you, the CUSTOMER, will be entitled to a 100% refund.

19. DISCLAIMER

TCP has not, does not, and will not represent itself as a law firm. TCP is a document preparation and assistance company providing products and services to help to victims of fraud within the timeshare industry. This document and all subsequent communication from Timeshare Cancel Professionals and/or TCP contain strictly confidential and proprietary material. Stay far, far away -- document preparation companies are worthless and will not get you out of your timeshare.

Okay then....Jeffrey, what do you recommend for us people that want to get out?

If you feel that you were deceived by the timeshare resort, then you need to hire a lawyer to get out of it. If you weren't then you need to do what you can to sell or give it away. All I'm saying is that timeshare documentation companies can't get you out of the timeshare and the timeshare resorts will simply ignore the documents they send. You would be paying a lot more money for no help at all and I assume that you aren't looking to waste any more money.

I am using this company and so far I have paid $800 (just like any attorney, money is needed upfront) I have received different emails with what to do next. So far I am pleased with this company. We are now in final stages to cancel with the timeshare. I will be mailing my affidavit with a prepared letter to the timeshare to refund me money and cancel the purchase agreement. I will let you know how it all turns out.

I have contacted them (TSCP) to see about getting out of my TS contract. The rep seemed to say all the right words, FDC fair share credit act, A 60 day act for cancelling credit transcations. I like the idea about suggesting the $ fee goes in escrow till the contact is dead. Has anyone else had any experience with Timeshare Cancel profeesionals they can share.

I used them and talked to my timeshare and my timeshare is now canceled. The timeshare said it won't go against my credit and it is like I never even got one. I didn't get any money back, but that's ok. As long as I'm not paying maintance fees anymore.:) I thank timesharecancel for the papers that they drew up to get the process resolved. I would pay it again.

I'm glad to hear that Mayhamphill has cancelled his TS contract using TS Cancel Professionals. But I have to wonder if Mayhamphill is really someone who works for TSCP? What to beleive and how to deceiver through the posts here offers no real guaranttee of what actually happened!

I think I might commuicate to the TS that I have no money to give them due to whatever reason, and offer to go lieu in foreclosure, to try and have them take back the TS. Everyone says I will lose my deposit, (a few thousand dollars) but there is no way they will ever give me that back anyhow.
I will keep posting on how things go.

TS's are definately a pain in the $%^(^.

Hello,

Are you talking about this company ? http://timesharecancel.com/4.html

Could you provide some prove to Jeffrey that you had your contract cancelled? Thank you.

Thanks Mayhamphill - I've been talking with them and needed to hear from someone that has actually gotten results. It'll cost me a little more but i have a large balance, large monthly and a large and increasing maintenance fee.
I just need to get out of this crazy timeshare. I've had it listed for 3 years now and we've only gotten like a nibbles a year. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress........

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is too good to be true!
