my timeshare in myrtle beach is paid off. i don't want my kids to have the headaches of owning this. i have a few questions- what if i just stop paying the maintenance fees? are my kids stuck with it after i am gone? if i do find a buyer/taker, how do i find a real estate attorney to handle everything, as my time share is out of state? can the sheraton refuse the transaction? thank you

My issue was similar. I did not want it anymore but was sent to collections for not paying fees. Paid lots of money to resale scams. Found a company however to transfer it out of my name and my money was held in escrow till transfer was complete. If anybody want out I surely recommend this way. The company is used was Timeshare Aquisitions out of Orlando Florida. We tend to pass ont he negative but I wanted to pass on something that finally happened good to me thru this process.
